Commercial Space Now Available at Drinkle Mall

We periodically have retail space available in the mall, rent starts at $500 gross per month plus GST (includes utilities, taxes, etc). The spaces have large retail windows looking onto the mall. The mall is ideal for destination specialty shops that do not rely on pedestrian traffic.

Shopkeepers form a close community with on-site owner-manager also located in the same mall.

See our Photo Exhibt: J.C. Drinkle: Boom to Bust

Our mall includes an extensive permanent photo exhibit about the builder J. C. Drinkle. The exhibit was made possible in 2007 by a Cultural Capitals grant, through the City of Saskatoon and thanks to Heritage Canada. The exhibit is available to be viewed during business hours in the downstairs mall. The text of the exhibit is available by clicking HERE.

Live and Work at Drinkle 3

Tired of commuting to your small business? Why not move your business into our mall and live in one of our upstairs apartments. If interested, please ask us about any commercial space that may be coming available.

Come See our Renovations

We have recently completed renovations that include a new stairway, tile floor and new carpeting throughout. Our stairway landing includes an inlaid "Drinkle No. 3 Building" logo which was replicated by an artist based on photos of the original storefront window in the building in 1913. The slate and ivory-coloured tile floor is modeled after the floor of the old MacMillan Building, built on the site of the first Drinkle building which was destroyed by fire in 1925.

The mall is open during normal retail hours, including Sundays, with 24/7 secured access to business owners. The secured basement mall is a safe location for high-end businesses.

Third Avenue Streetscape

In 2010 the City of Saskatoon completed streetscaping our block by adding trees, park benches, old-style light posts, paving stone sidewalks, and more public art.
